这本书主要讲述了鲁滨逊坐船不幸遇难被大浪冲到了一座荒岛，自力更生，整整生活了27个春夏秋冬。
在这27个年头里，鲁滨逊的心情可以说是五味杂陈：他为自己竟然死里逃生而庆幸;又为其它船员都葬身鱼腹而悲伤;也为自己孤苦伶仃，没人陪伴而叹息。
虽然他的心情也频临崩溃，但他没有放弃，他知道只要自己还活着，就还有一丝希望。就这样他靠着不屈不挠、乐观向上的精神，生存了下来，而且发现了越来越多的食物、水源。到最后鲁滨逊已经兵强马壮、粮食充足，过着十分安逸的生活。

漫长而又另人苦恼的长跑训练开始了。每天一大早就要到学校，跑个两三公里（非跑不可，因为有几个严厉的老师在一旁监视着我们，有一点松懈就…………，咳!）下午还要再跑个两三公里，但老师要开会，不会来管我们，但又不能缺席，老师就是“狠”。咳，谁叫咱们的智商不及老师呢？
刚开始，我就先跑两三百米。然后进入“竞走”状态．渐渐的，我就可以坚持五六百米的“长途”了。但我觉得实在是太苦了，早上、下午都要跑，每天回到家不是腰疼就是腿疼，每天又不得打篮球，真是受不了!不干了!老师听说后，立即“调兵谴将”，对我说这说那的，最后逼的我又要“舍命陪君子”了（继续加入长跑队。）又跑了一段时间，我已经能坚持一两公里的路程了。工夫不负有心人，我参加的某某长跑比赛中获得了第一名，心里真是爽啊!

我看了看时钟，不好，快迟到了！我赶紧一溜烟跑出家门。
